Front Of House Assesment

-What to expect from our FOH assessment-

We will arrive with your first FOH employee and stay until your last FOH employee leaves. We will leave at some point in the shift, return at the beginning of service, and experience full service. We will evaluate the steps of service, food quality, drink quality, and speed of service.

-Examples of observations after a FOH assessment-

  • On arrival, there was no host at the host stand, they were seating another table, and there was only one host on the shift, so we waited almost a full minute before we were seated.

  • Drinks were ordered and came out sporadically, with the last drink arriving twelve minutes after it was ordered.

  • The server had little to no menu knowledge and could not tell the source of any of the proteins or the setup of any of the entrees. Do you have up to date training materials?

  • Lightbulbs were out throughout the restaurant, and signs of wear were apparent on the tables and wall moldings. Do you have a preventative maintenance schedule?

  • The food was underseasoned, and the sauce tasted as if it came from a bag. Are you making food and tasting it, or is most of it coming in prepared?

  • Drinks were inconsistent; do you have standardized recipes?

-Cost of Service-

A partner will arrive with your first employee in the morning and stay throughout service until the last employee leaves. The cost of service is $750 for up to ten hours. Each additional hour is $80 per hour. You will receive a detailed assessment and recommendations to improve operations. Travel compensation is required for clients outside of the DFW metroplex.
